One Year Cake Smash

Happy First Birthday!

I had this one in the queue and forgot to hit publish due to a family emergency last year. I took a bit of a leave on managing the website, but it's a new year and I'm back on track and ready to share photos with everyone. Get ready to see a lot of photo blogging in the next couple months while I catch up.

I don't normally do baby sessions, but I can't say no to a 1yr cake smash. It's one of my favorite kind of photo shoots. This sweet girl was so much fun to photograph. Cute balloons and blanket courtesy of mom. (I always encourage clients to bring props to cake smash photo sessions.) Mom even made this gorgeous cake herself, if you can believe it! Big brothers help set up the balloons, and the whole family took turns getting smiles out this little girl. She was so funny. I think she liked the balloons better than the cake for most of the shoot, but once she got a good taste of that frosting she got down to business. The photos at the very end crack me up because when she was done, she was DONE. Hahahaha! And don't worry, we cleaned up the mess. We respect our locations and always make sure to leave them in the same condition or better than when we arrived.
