Meet the Teacher

Candace Greene is an award winning art teacher here in the valley. She is passionate about art/art education and it shows. During 2020, when schools were closed, Candace took her students on virtual tours of art museums and exhibits all around the state. It was such a fun and clever way to keep her students engaged that it landed her as a guest on the Drew Barrymore Show. Over the past few years she has organized and facilitated the painting of multiple murals around Phoenix with her Beautify the Valley Squad. And now she wants to help send some of her art students to Europe for a once in a lifetime trip to explore art in France & Italy next summer (2025). She & the kids have been fundraising like crazy to pay for this trip, and one of the fundraisers was a photography mini session event at Roosevelt Row in downtown Phoenix.
